Placenta Contract
Once placenta has been birthed, it can stay at room temperature for 2-3 hours, but get it in a fridge or on ice as soon as possible; 40 degrees is safe food temperature. If you are keeping your placenta for longer than a few days, it must be put in the freezer to maintain safety and benefits. Encapsulation, and other placenta services, typically take 2-3 days once I receive the placenta. I encapsulate in vegan capsules that are a size 0.
Payment is due in full prior to me picking up the placenta. Once I receive your contract, I will email you with how to pay! Options are Venmo, PayPal, or Credit Card.
By consenting to the right, you agree to store the placenta in a way that retains it’s freshness, you are free from Hepatitis B and HIV, and birthing person and baby are free from infection during labor and 24 hours after birth. If an infection presents before the 24 hour mark, but after placenta was picked up, please let me know asap as the placenta is no longer able to be consumed, as it is also infected. If this is the case, you must let me know within 24 hours from birth. If this is communicated within the timeframe, before the encapsulation process is started, then you can either receive a full refund or transfer the fund to other services.
By consenting, you confirm you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, the Refund Policy, as well as the rest of the information on this page.
An extra $20 mileage fee will be added on to any home address outside a 20 mile radius from my favorite restaurant Casa De Luz!
I will pick up the placenta from your birth location and drop whatever items you purchased back at your home once you are there. **Be sure to bring a cooler to the hospital for me to transport the placenta in!
