Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta Services
-
$250
*If you book any birth package you get $20 off placenta services (excluding the PWYC option).
Encapsulation typically takes 2-3 days once I receive placenta. I encapsulate in vegan capsules that are size 0.
My process of encapsulation follows Traditional Chinese Medicine methods of steaming the placenta (with the option of adding ginger, lemon, and jalapeƱo), dehydration, then encapsulating (with the option of herbs).

Tinctures are a nice way to extend the benefits of your placenta. The longer the placenta sits in the alcohol, the more potent it is. Some people have even saved these to assist in the hormone fluctuation during menopause.
Pro tip: As long as the placenta piece remains submerged in the alcohol and never touches air, you can continue to refill the tincture bottle with alcohol to prolong even more. It will have to sit to absorb the placental properties again, as the newly added alcohol will not be potent, but this is still an option. This is harder to do with the 1oz bottles due to there not being much additional space to refill above the placenta piece.

I use food safe dye or the natural blood from the placenta (you choose) to make a print of the "tree of life." This print shows the veins that fed your baby throughout pregnancy.

This is a 32oz jar of the nutrient dense water saved after the placental steam that is part of the encapsulation process.

Cord Keepsake will come with placenta pills free of charge, though if you are wanting just the cord keepsake or any other services, excluding the pills, then it has a separate charge due to the processing. The longer the cord, the better. I will do my best to make a heart or other designs at your request.
