"I cannot say enough about working with Sarah as our doula. She was recommended by my sister in law who had a wonderful experience with her and knew she would be a great resource for same sex first time moms. We had twin boys in March 2023 and shortly after signing on with Sarah, our pregnancy got complicated. I’m naturally an anxious person so having multiple hospital stays and scares before the delivery really took a toll on me. She was so supportive and was able to give great advice on staying calm and keeping perspective. She always made herself available and even came to the hospital when I needed an emergency procedure at 22 weeks. Throughout the entire third trimester, she was a wonderful sounding board and educational resource for us in a way that made us feel calm and informed. I was checked into the hospital at 33 weeks and was induced at 34 weeks due to preeclampsia. With twins and my blood pressure, our OB defaulted to a cesarean. Sarah helped us advocate for ourselves and give us confidence that a vaginal delivery was still an option. We felt confident and comfortable with the steps of induction because of the education Sarah provided before and in the moment. She guided us through the whole process and provided so much support during the delivery. After the delivery, my wife had to go to the NICU with our twins so Sarah stayed with me during recovery. She kept my wife informed of my blood pressure and helped with FaceTiming so I could see the babies. For our postpartum hours, Sarah has come out to watch the twins so my wife and I could get out of the house for date days. She is absolutely WONDERFUL with the boys. Overall, our experience with Sarah has been great and we hope we are lucky enough to work with her again during our next pregnancy!"

“Sarah was a blessing in the months leading up to my labor, during, and afterwards in the postpartum period. She was crucial in validating the many moods of my pregnancy journey. Sarah was my advocate during my child’s birth at the hospital with the nurses and doctor. Most importantly, Sarah remembered my birth preferences and encouraged me to take steps towards my own goals when labor became increasingly challenging. She helped me stay the course by providing resources other than epidural during my 13 hour labor into a vaginal birth. She was also an important resource for my husband by aiding in normalizing the process of labor. I could not imagine my experience going any other way than it did. I am grateful to Sarah for getting us through to the other side with my beautiful son now in my arms.”

"I would HIGHLY recommend Sarah for your birthing experience. Sarah came to our home before birth & educated us on all the labor tips and tricks, as well as teaching us stretching positions to get my body ready for labor. Once I went into labor she was just a text away making sure to check in until we needed her. She was at the hospital with us from 5am until midnight and held my hand the entire way. Sarah made me feel safe and cared for my entire labor experience. From putting tea lights around the room, rubbing my back, being calm and collected when I felt anxious, helping me get into different birthing positions, and applying warm compresses to help with tearing. I contribute a big part of how great my birthing experience was to having Sarah there. She has always been so kind & attentive to our little family. Sarah was an absolute joy to have & if she’s available for my next pregnancy I’d love to have her again!"

"We used Sarah for overnight support to catch up on sleep with a newborn. I felt completely safe leaving Sarah with my baby and she even spent the beginning of each shift checking in on us emotionally and physically before we went off to bed. I've never seen my baby so well rested in the morning and it was a total game-changer having her there for help!"

"What was most helpful was the overall support from Sarah! My labor was pretty wild and she made sure I was supported the entire time. Could not be more grateful for her!"
